MONDAY, 12/13/10
Thought about running Sunday night, but didn't want to relive the legs-falling-off situation from the previous run, so I got up Monday morning to put in the time.
I'm enjoying running in the cold. I'm not a glutton for punishment, but I've come to enjoy that moment when I realize that I've run long enough that it's not cold any more. Is that weird? I just love realizing, Hey, I feel totally comfortable right now!
Didn't have near the pain, but it was a hard run. It's actually a bit harder now that I'm running a distance and not a set time. Running a length of time allows me the opportunity to slow down as I get tired, but distance running is just the opposite. I don't want to go slow...I want to get done!
Did three miles in 35 minutes. Wish I was faster, but that will come. As I get more comfortable with the distance, I think I'll start using the clock more to keep track of each lap and hopefully build in some consistency.
WEDNESDAY, 12/15/10
Wednesday morning run was terrible. Not even going to blog it!
Got back out Wednesday night and put in 36 minutes. Didn't worry about the mileage. I just ran.
