Okay, men.

None of us are exempt. This is a time for honesty. For courage. For authenticity.

In the comment section below, I want you to share with us ONE romantic movie that you enjoyed.

Don't be afraid. Share with us one chick flick that got to you.

You will not be mocked for your participation. In fact, be sure and tell your significant other about your entry on this post and I'm sure you will receive their respect and admiration.

Now, share...

do Lifetime movies count bc Jenny forces me *not really* to watch them and usually the evil husband dies and then along comes Mr Right *that's the romance part*.

we did recently watch Fireproof! that was a good flick. a tad cheesy but best produced Chrstian film I've ever seen *sans The Passion*

A Walk to Remember. I don't care if the book was better, I don't read! Plus, I love Mandy Moore!

When Harry Met Sally. Yes I am dating myself here but dude two words, "Meg Ryan." She was Kate Hudson before there was Kate Hudson.

Gotta say, 'The Bourne Identity'. There was just such a connection between Bourne and Marie. Not good enough?

Ok, if I have to be really honest, I had a hard time choosing, but I'm gonna go with 'P.S. I Love You'. I was a crier that night (and it had some music and the dude had a rockin' Irish accent).

The Notebook

Notting Hill - but my wife thinks I like it because it suports the premise that a really average guy could get a girl like Julia Roberts.

Notebook, Pretty Women.. I will stop here so that I do not affect my standing in the general population of males. Just a reminder that I was a participant in Man up Movie Night.

I got a thing for Bridget. (Jones that is.) What I do is listen to the english accents and think about Monty Python skits.
I also enjoyed 4 Weddings and a Funeral. You have to admire a romance that starts off dropping the "F" bomb about a half dozen times.

I wish I could remember the name.

Christopher Reeve and Jane Seymour in a time traveling love story.

Somewhere in time.

that's it. (I wept)

It's antithesis was a movie with Keanu and Sandra... lakehouse... horrible.

Nottinghill for exactly the reason that valtool's wife says.

Serendipity - cause it was just cool.

And I'm glad no one has mentioned Brokeback Mountain. Really thought that might come from Clay

Return to Me: Minnie Driver & David Duchovny (que laugh track)

I've seen this movie probably three times. It makes me cry every time & I have a prediction. I predict that I will watch it again.

And cry again.

OMgoodness. the "Green Mile" was the last movie to get me choked up. Was that a chick flick? Hardly......

Fargo...

you'd have to know my wife.

nevermind... what I "meant" was
Sense and Sensibility

Fargo is something entirely different. And as my consequence for defaming my wife by making you all think she things Fargo is a chick movie... I get to watch it this weekend.

I am so excited.

(and yes... it makes me emotional)
