For Bluebirds Only...

Remember how we would all hang out for hours, guys? I remember so many nights, standing up and saying,
"We gotta' go home. It's late,"
then sitting back down for another 2 hours.

I remember all of us having those conversations with our spouses:
"Okay, okay. We're leaving in twenty minutes. We've got to get up early in the morning."
1:00am and we're still there, laughing and drinking Dr. Pepper (all of us,) unbelieving that we've found friends this amazing.

Do we all still drink Dr. Pepper?

I remember.

I drink diet dr. pepper now. But, that is the only thing that has changed.

I still can't believe I found friends that were so amazing.

I mean that ARE so amazing. That sounded so nice until I put your amazingness in the past tense.

unlike Lance who went all 'Armstrong' on us... I still partake of the DP nectar.

I was talking to a lady yesterday and the topic was friends. She said this during the conversation, "My husband has no friends... none... NOT ONE!" She even stressed it like that over and over. To myself I simply thought, "How sad. Thank God I have friends."

I too have moved to the Diet Soda. My first is always Diet Pepsi, then Diet Coke.

Lance, I have noticed much more of a "difference" with Diet Dr. Pepper. In other words, I feel that I get more of a natural Coke or Pepsi flavor with Diet versions. Diet DP just seems like its own thing.

What's the draw for you in the Diet Dr. Pepper, Lance? Better than the others or just a healthy way of staying loyal to America's favorite soda? (Is it sad that I'm actually interested in this sort of conversation?)

I'm sorry to respond so late. But tis necessary, even at such a late arrival. I too, am now partaking of the Diet Dr.Pepper. At the dismay of some, Lance and I came over to the Diet Dr. Pepper on our own accords. We didn't even know that each of us were doing it. I want that known, so that there is no sense of a rogue group forming with Bluebirds. However, I must add that I see my transition to Diet Dr. Pepper as a taste "correction" much like that of a stock market "correction." I was an avid Sugar Free Dr. Pepper fan as a kid, and with the availablity and awesome taste of Diet Dr. Pepper, I feel as though I am coming back to my roots without any compromise to the wonderful taste of Dr. Pepper that I was so fond of during my teenage years. That, and I was getting fat so I decided instead of quitting DP, I would try the diet stuff! and perfection!
