- Picked up Forrest around 7:45 this morning. We loaded gear and headed toward College Station. Made a quick stop to trade out cars with my mom so I could travel in something a bit more reliable.
- Go to studio around 10:20am. Forrest started setting up. (Robert Conn showed up...awkward.)
- Here are the tunes we got done so far: I Am Glad, All The Freed, Like The Sun, My Lips Will Sing and a little special something on Search and Know.
- We finished up a little before 5. Everybody was beat. (Mostly because My Lips Will Sing almost started a brawl in the studio.)
- Forrest and I check into hotel, then went to dinner. As we drove around, Forrest says he has his Mac and all his interface stuff if we wanted to record anything. I've been dying to do click tracks for some new stuff so I get all excited. Then Forrest realizes he doesn't have a vocal mic. Or a cable. Or a mic stand.
- I played on Forrest guitar at the hotel, called my wife. Forrest played in GarageBand.
- Probably will head to bed early tonight so we can hit it full on tomorrow morning.
- I did get some video footage and may try a little editing on Forrest iMovie. Will post as soon as possible.

10:35 and just now got this....been checking all evening for the first update. Did Forrest rock your face off? Will we have to wait til you get back to Lufkin for the video? Freebirds? Double Dave's? You know, the important stuff.
