Stevie all the way!! Any man that would put superglue on his fingers, stick it to his forearm, and rip flesh off to replace the callouses that had already fallen off...deserves to be in the band! I know no better commitment than that.
Any man that has to do such a thing to make himself have callouses in order to play the guitar in the first place shouldn't be playing the the guitar anyways.....a real guitar player would deal with callouses abandoning him/her and play through it. Life isn't fair, and sometimes our callouses put us in situations that aren't ideal...but we, as musicians, have to endure these times....we must persevere.

that sounds like a myth - i mean i'm just saying - that's pretty outrageous-
