Me and Johnny...

Me and John Simmons. Couple of cool dudes, I'll tell you that right now. Personally, I think John owns this one a bit stronger than I do. Looks like we should be an acoustic-folk-duo or something: me on 12-string, Johnny and a homemade djembe singing BGVs.

Another Reason You Should Be Friends With John Simmons...

He sends you stuff like this:

Thank You, John Simmons...

I was originally gonna' call this post something like, "The Next Chocolate Rain," because of it's infectious rhythm and melody. And then I realized that might not be the best title for this video.

What sort of sick mind would find this and send it to me?

This guy.

Life With Johnny...

John Simmons is a great drummer, a funny guy and a pretty smart fella when it comes to the things of God. He is also enjoys destroying sincere, heartfelt worship songs written by his friends.

I saw this the other day, and thought, "Oh, Johnny just reposted that video I made."

Wrong. Johnny put his own spin on it.

Carlos Santana Shreds...

Thank you, John Simmons, for sending me this video. It brought me much joy and it is a credit to you that would somehow know that I would love every second of it.

Fear Factor I

Why I would be scared to do a gig with John Simmons:

Because the whole time I'm leading, he'd be back there thinking,

"Well, that tune reeks of dispensensationalism!"
"This guy ought to read the Bible more."

"If he asks me to play four-on-the-floor one more time, he's going down."

Stay tuned for more info on who I'd be scared to join on stage!
