2008: Year of the Concert

I've decided that 2008 will be the Year of the Concert. I vow to attend the following concerts in 2008. (If at all possible...)

Lincoln Brewster: amazing worship with slamming guitar? so there, man.

David Crowder*Band
: i gotta' see how they pull that junk off live.

MUTEMATH
: 'cause I'm so trendy. and they're flippin' sweet

John Mayer
: you know he wrote Continuum, right?

U2
: because. they're U2.

So...who's on your CONCERT LIST?

Why are you waiting til 2008?

That's a pretty good list. I've seen Crowder, but I'd see 'em again, and again...

U2, John Mayer, Radiohead, The Mars Volta, Mutemath...and I'll go see Crowder with you.

Woah... Woah... Woah...

Did everybody just see that Todd Wright (Mr. anti-mainstream incarnate) said that a band was "flippin sweet"?

Oh dear Lord, we are truly in the last days?

4.20.07 - Houston, TX - Nickel Creek Farewell Tour

5.3.07 - Austin, TX - MuteMath

6.23.07 - Houston, TX - John Mayer

--------------------------------

Those are the ones that are already set. But then Crowders new record will be out in the fall. The Shanes' either Summer or Fall. Then Robbie Seay hopefully the summer.

So all three of those. Then I want to see the Foo Fighters sometime but I think I'll wait until next year.

hmm..i have seen Crowder, they are great. I just had free tickets to the John Mayer show here in Huntsville and I didn't go. Just wasn't up for it.

Jeff, you passed up free Mayer? Dang!

I am definately down with seeing MuteMath.

If B.B. King gets sick again, it might be '08 before Jinx and I see him.

My life goal was to see 5 concerts!
I've seen plenty but these five have been my dream.

1) The Jackson 5 (complete, 1984: Victory Tour)
2) The Eagles (complete, 1994: Hell Freezes Over)
3) Garth Brooks (complete, 1997: The Final Tour)
4) U2 (complete, 2005: Vertigo)
5) James Taylor (????)

Come on James, come to the South again!
